Sesame oil refining machine introduction

Sesame oil refining machine is a key equipment for producing high-quality sesame oil. It integrates a variety of technologies and processes to ensure that sesame oil can retain its nutrients to the maximum extent during the extraction process and remove impurities and bad flavors. These equipment are usually composed of multiple parts, including but not limited to feeding system, extraction system, distillation system, deodorization system, oil-water separation system and oil product delivery system.

Specifically, the commonly used equipment types in sesame oil refining machine are fixed bed extractors, oil extractors, screw press oil extractors, etc. The fixed bed extractor adopts liquid extraction method, which is easy to operate and high in efficiency; the oil extractor separates sesame oil from the raw material through high-speed rotating centrifugal force, with large processing capacity and short extraction time; and the screw press oil extractor squeezes sesame oil from the raw material through the principle of physical extrusion, with simple process and easy use.

The sesame oil refining process mainly includes the following steps:

Raw material processing: First, clean and rinse the sesame raw material to remove impurities and bad particles.

Extraction or pressing:

Extraction method: Use solvent oil (such as No. 6 solvent oil) to fully soak the sesame raw material and then perform high-temperature extraction. The extracted sesame oil contains impurities and solvent residues and needs to be treated later.
Pressing method: Use equipment such as hydraulic oil press or screw oil press to squeeze the oil out of sesame by mechanical pressure. The sesame oil obtained by pressing contains fewer impurities, but may still need further refining.

“Six degreasing” process: Regardless of whether the extraction method or the pressing method is used, the sesame oil obtained must be refined by the “six degreasing” process. This includes:

Defatting: Removing excess fat components in oil.
Degumming: Using the principle that the peptizing impurities are hydrophilic, the peptizing impurities such as phospholipids and proteins are made to absorb water, condense, and precipitate and separate by adding electrolyte aqueous solution.
Dehydration: Removing water from oil.
Decolorization: Removing pigments from oil by adsorption, chemical reaction and other methods to improve the color and transparency of oil.
Deodorization: Remove odor from oils and fats through adsorption, distillation and other methods to improve the taste and quality of edible oils.
Deacidification: Use the acid-base neutralization principle to add an appropriate amount of alkali solution to the oils and fats to separate free fatty acids and reduce the acid value of the oils and fats.
Dewaxing: For some types of sesame oil, dewaxing treatment is also required to remove wax components in the oils and fats. These waxes will cause edible oils to become turbid and solidify at low temperatures, affecting the appearance quality.

Finished oil: The sesame oil obtained after the above refining process is finished oil, which can be packaged, encapsulated and put on the market.

In summary, sesame oil refining machine and process flow are crucial to the production of high-quality sesame oil. Through scientific equipment configuration and fine process control, it can be ensured that sesame oil removes impurities and bad flavors while retaining nutrients to meet market demand.
